The Importance of Diluting Essential Oils

Essential oils are natural substances but extremely concentrated and not soluble in water: just a few drops are enough to obtain a therapeutic effect. For this reason, it is essential to dilute them correctly before applying them to the skin , so as to avoid irritation, sensitization or adverse reactions. Dilution allows the properties of the oil to be conveyed in a safe and effective way.

Ways to use

Safe for the skin and, if necessary, also for internal use (only with suitable oils). It is the ideal base for: Natural Perfumes, Roll on, Body and Face Sprays, Oral Preparations.
πŸ‘‰ Recommended dilution:
Mix 10–20 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of food-grade alcohol, shake well, then add up to 40 ml of water or hydrolate, if desired.

Hand and Foot Bath Rooms

πŸ§‚ Salt – For baths
aromatics, foot baths and natural scrubs

essential in water. Thanks to its crystalline structure, it β€œabsorbs” the drops
and facilitates their diffusion, preventing them from remaining concentrated on the surface.
πŸ‘‰ How to use
Mix 5–10 drops of essential oil with 1 tablespoon of coarse or fine salt (preferably whole or Dead Sea). Then add it to your bath water, foot bath, or scrub.

🟒 When to prefer it?
