Psycho-aromatherapy
Essential oils have multiple fields of action.
Physical Body : Essential oils can act directly on the physical body of us humans, on our 4-legged friends, improving skin health, relieving muscle and joint pain, and supporting the immune system.
Psycho-emotional body: Essential oils can influence emotions and mood, helping to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. Or helping us to regain energy to face difficult situations.
Energy Body : Essential oils can act on the body's energy centers, such as the chakras, and improve the flow of vital energy.
Psycho-Aromatherapy studies the relationship between essence and the nervous system.
The olfactory system represents our deepest and most immediate connection with our surroundings and with others.
The sense of smell can be used to understand ourselves, to communicate and to explore the psyche and the unconscious.*

Sensation and perception
The sense of smell works with a lock-and-key mechanism. This discovery is due to the Nobel Prize winner Buck-Axel.
How Aromatherapy Stimulus Works:
The aromatic molecules are inhaled and reach the olfactory mucosa.
By stimulating the olfactory receptors, signals are created that will be sent to the Limbic System.
The activation of the Limbic System determines physical and psychological effects.
A further signal reaches the frontal cortex.
The smell is perceived.
